Move With Us

Hey Warriors:


How are y’all doing? Are you all living your life intentionally? Well, you know, we are....and we are on a journey to improve our temples (our bodies, y'all). Come on & get “Moving With Us.”


"What is your Adventurous Dynamic Duo talking about?" "What are we doing now?" Well, for the last month, we've been on a journey to eating healthy and exercise. Yep! That’s right! You hear us correctly. Lol. We had been abusing the temples that God has given us. Um hum! We are so guilty of over-eating and not using our gym memberships!!!! Anybody else out there like us? Lol. Warriors, we had to stop and do the mirror test, and we didn't like what we were seeing. Of course, we have been, enjoying life, traveling and adventuring, but doing it over-weight and out-of-shape is a no, no. In fact, in some cases, in order to explore and adventure, we must be in shape. When traveling to see, learn, and adventure, the ability to walk for extremely long periods of time - is a must. Even some of our future activities, will require us be a specific weight.


Warriors, we want to feel better about ourselves and we are doing all that we can to make that goal a reality. "So what are we doing?" Jackie has joined #WeightWatchers and Sidney has cut back on eating junk food. Okay... y’all, already know men lose weight easier and quicker than women. So, yeah, "Sid I’m jealous!" Lol. Now, we are working out at the gym 3-4 days a week for 1 1/2-2 hours - doing cardio and weight training. We even have coaches at the #YMCA. Jackie is giving herself a year (a goal) to get to where she likes she looks 👀 and feels.

A few tips to get moving:


1. First assess where you currently are in your journey.

2. Talk to yourself and be honest. Can you do it by yourself or could you use some assistance. 3. If you need assistance, can you afford the cost.

4. Put a plan together.

5. Make sure you add the expense to get help in your budget.

6. Do not rush towards your fitness goals. Do the work and let it happen. 7. Pray daily to stay motivated.

8. If possible, get a partner to do it with.

9. Celebrate victories.

10. Don’t stop. You can do it and so can we.


It's time for us to start moving or keep moving. God has work for us to do, so we must be physically fit. Make sure, you try: a healthy smoothie daily, eat balanced healthy meals, cut out all of this meat (Yep, we said it!), sweets, chips and sodas. Get to moving. It’s our time. Move! Move! Move! Move to the beat and sound, of a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
